This is a pattern calculator that will do the calculations for you based on the measurements you provide so YOU CAN DRAFT MANY SIZES OF CIRCLE SKIRTS. I do include instructions for drafting and basic assembly instructions. More importantly, this PDF form contains lots of mathematical information that YOU DON'T HAVE TO SEE SINCE THE MATH IS DONE FOR YOU! The file works best on a computer. You MUST have and USE the latest Acrobat Reader XI or better to use this file properly. The file will open and the calculations work in some older versions (v7 and up) of Acrobat Reader except some of the buttons in the file will not work as intended as far as I can tell. Acrobat Reader is free from Adobe.com. If this opens in your web browser it won't work. You should open the Reader software and then open the file in the software. I am told that Chromebooks won't work.

BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY:
This is an easy pattern to make, but you should have a basic understanding of sewing and garment construction. There is a generalized set of instructions for sewing.

You can use inches or centimeters, you can add and customize positive or negative ease, hems, and both horizontal and vertical seam allowances and you can use it for life (as long as you have a backup), for any size or length circle skirt. Also included are waistband and fabric calculations.

String or curved edge
Straight Ruler or tape measure
Large paper to create the pattern
Protractor
Paper Scissors to cut the pattern
Fabric Scissors
The fabric amount depends on the size and length of the skirt
